HRM reviews ten important takeaways from a thirty-year business career in America, starting as a freshly-minted MBA in the midst of the last major economic downturn of 1980-83, through an entrepreneurial start-up, and an IPO that led to the creation of one of the world's leading property investment and development platforms active on four continents.

LIFE LESSONS - Vali Nasr
VN will reflect on the journey that took him through academia to the policy-making world. He will share his life lessons about balancing commitment to one's values and heritage and the demands of a career. He will reflect on the unique challenges facing Iranian Americans in rising to the top, and will speak to what the next generation should expect in pursuing their vision, navigating the path to becoming thought leaders and public figures.
