2G Spectrum scam is the mother of all scams. This was executed by A.Raja at the orders of a Maharaja in Chennai. According to Dr Subramanian Swamy, the scam brought a handsome booty of Rs 60,000 cr. Out of this, Rs 30,000 cr went to the Maharaja. Prince Alagiri is still sulking because a major portion of this loot went to a Rani in his father's other family.
Spectrum scam has been in the news for the past couple of years. Dr Manmohan Singh defended Raja in Parliament and outside many a times. Immediately after the last Lok Sabha elections, the cabinet formation was in disarray over this Telecom portfolio and particularly induction of a tainted Raja. The Maharaja was so upset that he abruptly returned to Chennai leaving the Congress in a lurch.
Till the evening of 13 Nov, Raja and the Maharaja were audaciously claiming that there was nothing wrong with 2G issue. Even on the morning of 14 Nov, DMK MP T R Baalu sarcastically bragged that the Telecom portfolio would 'naturally' go to a DMK MP. All these information points out clearly that Congress has all along been an abettor and beneficiary in this mega scam.
CAG in today's press conference had categorically told that they have not given clean chit to any ministry including PMO. The Apex Court also questioned today PM's delay and inaction over Dr Swamy's petition filed in Nov 2008 asking for permission to prosecute Raja.
As is the norm, the Delhi Sepoy and his mother treat this scam as if it had happened in Nigeria or Bolivia.
It is very strange why BJP and Left parties are not demanding the resignation of the PM and the whole Cabinet.

Poor Raja was paid only Rs 100 cr. Dr Swamy further asserted in a Tamil TV channel that the rest of the booty [Rs 30,000 cr] was shared in Delhi. Neither Chennai nor Delhi dared to challenge Dr Swamy.

Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh ultimately budged to give the portfolio to DMK and that too under Raja. This abject surrender of the Congress to Karunanidi was a big mystery to many observers because DMK was running a minority government in TN at that time [and now also] with the support of Congress MLAs but without sharing power.

Dr Singh was compelled to remove Raja now because of the extreme pressure from media, opposition parties, Supreme Court and the public. Is a scam of this magnitude possible without the blessings from the PMO, Finance ministry and Law Ministry? We are often sermonized about the collective responsibility. Is it correct that Dr Singh, the embodiment of honesty, and his cabinet [minus Raja] continue in office even after all these monumental sins?
