Ministry of Water Resources releases a revised draft of the National Water Policy 2012

On 31st January 2012, the Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) had released a draft of the National Water Policy 2012 and invited comments till 29 February 2012. Following the meeting of the National Water Board on 7th June 2012, the MoWR has now put up a revised draft on their website.

In this article, we look at the salient features of the revised draft and compare it to the previous version.
