1.     The defence minister said that the ministry will send its views to the Union Finance Ministry byFebruary 17 and thereafter a decision will be taken.

2.     He explained that there are lot of calculations and complications that need to be resolved first.

One Rank One Pension scheme, a long pending demand by the armed forces is likely to turn into a reality and that too as soon as April, 2015. While the armed forces are rejoicing over the Defence Minister's fresh assurance, the scheme has turned into a political fight between the BJP and Congress.
