A HEALTH AND NUTRITION CAMP AT THE VENUE OF BHARAT NIRMAN PUBLIC INFORMATION CAMPAIGN

Kulpi (24-Parganas-S), October 30, 2010.

 

Directorate of Field Publicity, a unit under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India organized a health camp in Bharat Nirman PIC venue at Kulpi, South 24-Parganas. Around 80 mother and child were given health related advice by Dr. Dulal Chandra Sardar, BMOH, Kulpi Block and Dr. Samarendra Mondal, Janaitalahat Primary Health Centre. Mother and child were also provided free medicine.

 

Kolkata Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Advancement (SNEHA) conducted nutritional assessment of about hundred persons and provided them with necessary diet counseling. Kolkata SNEHA also put up a stall where nutritionist gave health related suggestion to the persons visiting the stall.
