President of India Condoles Passing away of Smt. Satyawati

New Delhi: October 27, 2010.

 

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of veteran freedom fighter Smt. Satyawati.

In her condolence message, the President has said, "Smt. Satyawati was a freedom fighter, who actively participated in our freedom struggle. I fondly recall my meeting with her at her residence last year. In her death, the nation has lost an eminent personality and a great freedom fighter."
