Miles Of Smiles 20 Arrives In Gaza
Wednesday June 5 2013; The "Miles of Smiles 20" human right solidarity convoys managed to reach the Gaza Strip via the Rafah Border Terminal between the coastal region and Egypt, the Palestine News Network (PNN) has reported.
Abdul-Rahman Al-Madhoun, in charge of the Committee for Welcoming Solidarity Convoy in Gaza, stated that convoy members would participate in the "World Procession to Jerusalem" this Friday.
Dozens of parallel processions are planned in Arab and Islamic capitals around the world as part of an international solidarity campaign with the Palestinian people, living under Israeli occupation, aggression and siege.
Al-Madhoun added that convoy members also carried tons of medical supplies, equipment and medications urgently needed in the Gaza Strip.
